After our latest table plan success (a giant
vintage book-shaped table plan!) we decided to have a look around to
see what kind of stationery has been made in this style: the bookish
style!

Literature is a great wedding theme for two
reasons: 1. it elevates our love stories to the heights of immortal
novels, and 2. it gives us a great deal of design possibilities!
To get your ideas flowing on this subject we did a
quick online search. Amongst our findings were the well known penguin classics' invites, but also some other rather creative ideas!

| Superman Envelopes by Desiree Fleck |
Envelopes are a key part of your wedding
stationery and these ones are the ideal compliment for a more simple
style of invite. Plus they are a pretty ecological way to announce
your wedding!

Aren't these a spectacular favour for your guests?
Romantic, bookish and timeless!

| Escort/place cards with vintage book pages by Roseanna Willis |
I absolutely love these place cards. The vintage
book pages really make a difference and bring a lovely nostalgic
feeling to the whole table arrangement.
What about you? Would you like to base your
wedding stationery on your favourite books?

We had music sheets incorporated into our wedding stationery - we wanted books but couldn't find any that I was willing to destroy! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sarah - I love the idea of incorporating vintage books, or music sheets... but when I see it, beautiful as it is, the thought of tearing individual pages makes me a little bit sad. I'm torn! (pardon the pun!)
