I do, dear sir! Inspiration for an Edwardian wedding.

It looks like the period drama trend has jumped from the screen to the catwalk. The intricate Edwardian gowns and hairdos that have been moving legions of Downton Abbey fans have found a way into modern fashion and they provide great wedding inspiration - just check out this amazing Edwardian wedding photoshoot featured on Style Me Pretty!
The Edwardian period is still remembered as a golden age for fashion. Influenced by the glamour of the French Belle Époque, by the Art Nouveau style and by sporty upper classes, Edwardian people grew aware of fabric flexibility, lightness and floral patterns.
To add a bit of this cheerful vintage influence to your wedding try to use lovely eyelet laces, floral prints, feminine statement accessories and curvy typefaces!
We've put together a period mood-board to get your ideas going. Is Edwardian your style?
