Help, is my wedding suffering from multiple personality disorder? - part 2

Decision making is never an easy task, specially when it involves a huge milestone such as a wedding. In situations such as these, clinging to more than one theme and avoiding decisions by including all the options possible might seem like the safest way to go, but it can actually make your job a lot harder.
The remedy for the perfect wedding is yet to be found, but we can suggest a couple of tips that will certainly help you to keep your wedding's personalities under control.

1. Narrow it down
If your theme is a bit vague or too broad, try to narrow it down. If you're thinking vintage narrow it down to an era. If you're thinking folk narrow it down to a country. If you're thinking general contemporary mood narrow it down to 3/4 colours or 3 key elements. By being specific you will certainly succeed at keeping the whole celebration cohesive.

2. Verbalize it
Clear ideas make planning much easier. Try to write down your ideas and read them out loud. This technique will help you to process your thoughts and make sure they make sense. If they sound confusing maybe it means you need to make some decisions.

3. Cut it
Don't be afraid to let go of some ideas. Maybe you love those hessian covered Mr&Mrs signs you bought at the flea market the other week, but they don't really match the cosmopolitan urban mood you're planning... Let it go, less is more!
