Although our
one true love is print, sometimes our eye wanders off to the digital
world. It was during one of these electronic escapades that we
stumbled upon I&H - the cutest, most talented couple ever!
Having been
together since high school, and sharing the same passion for
role-playing games and animé series, I&H decided to take their
wedding to the next level by creating an entirely original video game
wedding invitation!
Inspired by
the Final Fantasy series, the couple devised an intriguing plot and
created unique characters and dialogues for each guest (that's right:
each guest received it's own personalized version of the game!).
Here's how
it all worked. Guests were invited to download the game and try their
best to help the groom to find his way into the arms of his beloved
bride. But if you think this would just be a quick and easy task,
think again. They had to escape from a destroyed city, find their way
through magical forests, find clues, fight baddies and even answer
riddles related to the bride and groom!
After all
the fun of helping the groom to reach his happy ending, the
guest/player, arrives at a digital version of the wedding reception,
where all the invitation is presented.
My one and
only question to the couple was: "How long did it take you guys
to make this?" To which they replied smiling: "Don't even
ask!"
Hard work
for sure, but it was worth it :)
